HometownHaunts
Hello there, I am wondering if there is a way to show the base quantity of a product, regardless of the size/variant they choose. I sell shirts and print the designs separately. So for example, I have 2 of a design, and it doesn't matter what size they pick I still only have 2 available. Is there a way to set this up without having to manually go in and adjust inventory? Link to comment

The only trusted "off the shelf" solution is Trunk Inventory. There isn't any free code because a 'code' solution would need to be maintained. EvanMax
I apologize if this has been asked and answered before, but I've been unable to locate an answer while searching this forum. My specific issue is that I have a product (fountain pen) with two different variant options (color and nip size). There are three colors and four different nib sizes, and I see how I could set up my inventory with 12 different skus and just sell them that way, but that's not what I'm looking to do. Because the nibs can be installed in the pens as we are packaging them up to ship, what I'd prefer to be able to do is to track the three colors under three skus, and to track the four nib sizes under four skus, and then treat each sale as a combination of the two. Is there any way to do this with a single product listing? trying to make my customers add their nib and pen separately to the cart is going to cause confusion, because that's just adding extra hoops for them, but splitting things up into 12 different skus is also not ideal because that artificially limits what people can buy if a particular nib size sells out in one color, even though I still have more of those nibs allocated to another color.
