adding homepage to navigation

hi,

i have an issue with page navigation in 7.1. once you leave the mainpage it's very difficult to find your way back there. i would like home page to be shown on the list together with the rest of subpages. how can i do that? even cooler if i could have it dispalyed on every page BUT the home page.

If you'd like to add a homepage link to the main navigation you can add this by dragging the homepage from Not Linked to Main Navigation.

That said, adding a manual link for the homepage isn't normally necessary because users should be able to click/tap the site logo to reach the homepage.

To hide the nav link on the homepage you'll need a line or two of "custom CSS". The exact code will depend on the URL of your homepage and the template you are using. If you provide a working link to the site, one of us can take a look.

thank you, that's very helpful! i opted for more minimal design so the logo/name of the website in the header just didn't look good.

oh god. i put it in the advanced section of the home page rather than in custom css within the design. sorry, i'm a noob 🤦‍♀️
