Connecting Domain to SquareSpace

Currently setting up a new SquareSpace website in Ireland.  I have a .ie domain that I can only connect to squarespace as .ie domains aren't supported.  I have only purchased the domain from an Irish third party site, didn't include hosting, ssl certs etc with the third party provider.

My question is, does squarespace then provide the ssl cert etc once connected or do I need to do this with via the domain provider.

Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated!
