AskSquarespace6 Posted July 17, 2023 Posted July 17, 2023 On my client's site, it's accessed through Design, but on my new site I created today, it's accessed through "Website", which takes me to the "Pages" tab, or what used to be called "pages", then I have to scroll all the way down and click "Website tools", and THEN "Custom CSS." So, I'm wondering if they changed something.

The options previously titled 'Pages' and 'Design' are now combined under the heading 'Website'. Did this help? AskSquarespace6 Posted July 29, 2023 Author Posted July 29, 2023 I have worked using Squarespace for the last 4 years. Usually, the main navigation from the dashboard is showing the page and design option. But currently, my new setup doesn't have both of them. I am really very surprised about it. However since signing up for the subscription, the "Design" option has disappeared. derricksrandomviews Posted August 9, 2023 Posted August 9, 2023 (edited) The design options moving under Website is a somewhat recent 7.1 configuration design change by Squarespace. It kinda threw me as well. I suppose it is part of the separation of 7.0 and 7.1 giving 7.1 more of its own personality so to speak. Edited August 9, 2023 by derricksrandomviews
RyanBlechinger Posted August 10, 2023 Posted August 10, 2023 Is there an 'official' Squarespace newsletter/dev update/etc that one may sign up for to get notified of these changes in Advance? It would be nice to know. Or does SS just update and not tell anybody? I feel like I'm missing the 'press releases' about updates and then one day I log in and I can't figure out where the heck my tools are.
