Images from galleries got blurry after some time

I realized months after starting the website that a lot of the images from the galleries in some of the pages became blurry. They were not like this before as I remember.

I adhered to the recommended 1500 X 2500 pixels per image as much as possible so I'm not sure which would be the problem here.

Attached is an example of an image that became blurry on the website and the original one that is 2500 X 1666.

@creedon Would you have any suggestions concerning this topic? Should I just keep my images at 1500 X 2500 or under that strictly?

Did the images get blurry on their own, after they had been uploaded? Or, have recently upload images gotten blurry?

I've just discovered this same issue.  I have an image on my homepage:  https://www.jgpstyledme.com/ which has become blurry over time.  This is the image:

I just tried to delete the image and upload it again, and initially after I saved it to the site, it wasn't blurry, but now it's blurry again...

It's how they are being used (HTML/CSS) that seems to be the issue. I don't know exactly what is happening or have a solution.

If you have no custom code installed on your site this would be something to bring up with Customer Support. If you do have custom code, SS will blame the issue on that and try to get you to go away.

It's really bizarre.  I'm only seeing it pixelated like that on my monitor.  Looks fine on my phone, looks fine on my husband's monitor...  What's weird is that it never used to look like that on mine.  🤷‍♀️

I can confirm the blurry on my monitor and looks OK on my cell phone.
