DrimPunx
Hello everyone, i am new here and i am not a professional coder, just working on my private poster selling site. After almost finishing my platform and my design , uploading many of my works, and getting closer to launching it, tonight, all of a suden, the hover over my product images in the product gallery started behaving very weird. Untill now, on product image hover, second image in the gallery would always get picked up automaticly. I based a big part of my design on that thing, more precisely i used transparent images, that on hover would allow, for the site background to appear making for a pleasent visually effect. Tonight all of a sudden (didn't add any new CSS code in days) instead of second picture in the gallery, last one would get picked on hover. Not only that, but it seems it kind of shows all overlapping images in bacwards. So if i put a transparent image on last position, on hover i would see that, and the one before it. I tried to remove all CSS code just to check if i messed anything up, but the problem persists, so it is not that. Anyway, this is my site https://tambourine-seahorse-f8ky.squarespace.com/config/pages/645e0ddeec0e6f0bfba508b1, or www.inyadrims.com. Please help, i am loosing it here. Thank you all. Link to comment
Solution DrimPunx Posted July 15 Author Solution Share Posted July 15 Update on the situation: Hello folks, it seems, after doing nothing else whatsoever, evrything works fine again this morning (btw, last night, and also now, i have tested it on several pc-s iphone, ipad etc, it was all the same, just like now, all of a sudden everything is back to normal). Is it possible, that some internal revision on squarespace part may have caused this perhaps? Anyway, for now it seems to be fine, thanks everyone, will keep updated if the problem reappears. creedon
Quote Is it possible, that some internal revision on squarespace part may have caused this perhaps? Possible yes. SS is making changes all the time. Sometimes things don't go as planned. Equally as possible is something happening outside of SS. The internet is a complex system and is prone to errors. If something is happening out of the ordinary I suggest waiting a bit to see if the abnormality clears. In the meantime restart your browser, computer, routers/hubs, and etc. to get a fresh start on your end. If the issue persists, ask questions here. Ultimately if you think it is an SS issue, contact customer support. DrimPunx and tuanphan 2 Find my contributions useful? DrimPunx
Thank you for your response. One thing i would add though, before posting, i have reseted browsers and pc's several times, but then again, i shoulld have probably waited a bit longer see how things go down before posting, guess panic kind of took me over. Thank you again, prompt response, cheers! creedon 1 Link to comment
