Is there a way to review subscription orders before they're fulfilled?

We're selling subscriptions to a member area based on location and I'd like to be able to review the member before accepting payment for membership, but I'm not finding a way that this can be done.

I've been advocating for a feature that allows you to approve members since 2021 but this has not been implemented yet. It's top of my list of Member Area limitations.

Thanks so much for the info. That's a real bummer. We migrated over from another platform in order to have additional features that Squarespace has, but this is a very important membership feature that's missing on this platform. I'll have to figure out some workaround. I also logged a support ticket. Really hope they include this in the very near future... especially as it helps alleviate safety and privacy concerns.
