Terry1986 Posted July 12, 2023 Posted July 12, 2023 Hi As per the terms, I've got a cookie policy that requires users to accept whilst using my site. However, the wording of this cookie policy is being used as my sites description, despite my site description being changed in the SEO Settings on my Squarespace account. Can anyone please advise on what steps to take to change this.
Ziggy Posted July 12, 2023 Posted July 12, 2023 Was your site SEO description empty when you first discovered the cookie banner text in the Google search result? Terry1986 Posted July 13, 2023 Author Posted July 13, 2023 No. It's been there a while now since I first started the website. I've also realised that my set page titles aren't changing either
Collaborada Posted July 14, 2023 Posted July 14, 2023 Hi @Terry1986 when I search your brand I see the correct home page description. But your page title tags all have the same text, read here about repeated text: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/title-link Ziggy 1 Building high-performance websites with expert SEO for local and national reach.
