Cookie Policy appearing as Google's Site Description

Recommended Posts

Hi

As per the terms, I've got a cookie policy that requires users to accept whilst using my site. However, the wording of this cookie policy is being used as my sites description, despite my site description being changed in the SEO Settings on my Squarespace account.

Can anyone please advise on what steps to take to change this.

Was your site SEO description empty when you first discovered the cookie banner text in the Google search result?

Hi @Terry1986 when I search your brand I see the correct home page description. But your page title tags all have the same text, read here about repeated text: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/title-link
