hausofwood
I am an artist with a Wexley template. After creating it for the purpose to "sell paintings" I realize now this is not a good strategy for my market. I have both a "Gallery" which only shows images of paintings, and the Commerce tab which has all the relevant descriptions of each painting. I'm hoping theres a way to transition all the content from the commerce page to a portfolio- without pricing. https://www.kimberleighwood.com/new-products-1 Also, I don't like how vertical images must crop to a square proportion. cheers, k Link to comment
creedon
Quote I'm hoping theres a way to transition all the content from the commerce page to a portfolio- without pricing. There is no automated way to transition content from one collection type to another (store to portfolio). You have two options. Manually copy the content across. Or, keep it in the Store page but modify the store page to hide the commerce elements of the page. This is done with custom CSS to hide things like price, quantity, add to cart, and etc. There is an upside to using a Store page, if you are OK with how it is laid out, you can restore the commerce bits in the future if you decide commerce works for you. A store details page is a bit more structured/restrictive in its layout compared to a Portfolio page which is pretty much free-form. Find my contributions useful? The URL you provided doesn't exist so we can't see your issue. Edited July 13, 2023 by creedon Find my contributions useful?
