Product quantity – update price total

Is there a way to update the product total cost displayed on the Product page, when more than one quantity of the product is selected - ideally without adding to cart. 
Our product has a couple of dropdown selectors to choose from to create an initial price for one item (ie. size, type) but when upping the quantity from 1 to 2 or more, the price is not adjusted in the displayed price. 

Screen grab below - price shown of £428.00 is for one panel, as two are selected in qty, it should total £856.00?

Once added to cart, the total is displayed only in the cart.
