White text logo w/ transparent background turns black on all pages in site header

Recommended Posts

I have tried a few things to see what's going on with my logo. I tested it on other applications and even dropping it onto a different piece of webpage as an image and it worked fine with white text and transparent background. The logo file is .PNG created with Canva. Is it possible my theme may have restrictions for logo colour? I have tried changing the background colour/colour scheme beneath the black and white photo as well. Any advice is appreciated 🙂

You mean change Logo to white on Homepage only?

If yes, add this to Design > Custom CSS

body.homepage header#header img {
    filter: invert(0);
    -webkit-filter: invert(0);
}

Not entirely but that would be helpful if it works. The file itself is white with a transparent background and I can't figure out why it turns black in the heading automatically.

It turns black because you used this CSS code
