Nocke Posted July 2, 2023 Posted July 2, 2023 (edited) Hi, I'm an artist in the entertainment industry looking to overhaul my portfolio website. I have no particular web design skills and have only used templates to this point, so forgive my ignorance. I might be willing to hire someone if necessary. Basically I want a website that functions kind of like this one, which does seem to be a Squarespace site, where you have a grid of primary images, but when you click one of those images it opens up to display a series of related images. The website in question: https://www.vinodrams.com/ On this site, once you scroll to the bottom of the "related images" you are looking at the main grid again. I like that just fine but I would also be happy if you had to click back (or click an X) to get back to the main grid. How hard is this to achieve? Are there resources where I could learn how to do this? Or do I need more web design skills and/or need to hire someone to build this? Edited July 2, 2023 by Nocke
tuanphan Posted July 4, 2023 Posted July 4, 2023 You can consider this approach (will require a plugin, but simpler then above request) Click on images on grid >> Show a lightbox with content, images... >> Click X will close lightbox, return to Grid Email me if you have need any help (free, of course.). Answer within 24 hours. Or send to forum message Contact Customer Care - Learn CSS - Buy me a coffee (thank you!)

Could you let me know what plugin is necessary to show multiple images in a lightbox, if you know off hand? I will try to research this later in the week when I have time, but if someone knows then it would be a lot of help. Unless I'm misunderstanding and there is no way to show a separate mini "gallery" of related images inside a lightbox. Edited July 10, 2023 by Nocke
