Trial ending: Website advice needed!

Hi all,

Just a quick question I have here: I am currently on a free trial and have made a website, I do not want to pay for a full plan yet but I will need to in a few months. My free trial ends in 13 days, when this trial runs out what happens with my account? Will I still be able to log in and will my website be deleted? If so then how long do they store it for, and can I get it back if it is deleted. Had mixed answers on google so I thought I would ask on here. Thanks.

After your trial expires, you'll receive an email from Squarespace with the subject "Your trial has expired. Need more time?" and you can extend your trial directly from this email.

If you do not extend the trial or upgrade to a paid plan, Squarespace will delete an expired trial site four months after the trial expires. They'll send you an email seven days before deleting the content, to give you time to upgrade the trial to a paid service or reactivate the trial.

I hope this helps.

Hello, I'm also in the same boat. Currently creating a mock website (using Squarespace v 7.1) on behalf of our company. The plan is to replace our existing site (currently running Squarespace 7.0) once the powers-to-be agree to the content and look and feel. It'll likely take up to 2 month or so to finalize content and get approvals. After my trial ends in 4 days and I get an email asking if I want to resume the trial or upgrade, if I choose trial, how long does the second trial period last? Is it possible to keep trialing until we are ready to go live? That's almost what the last paragraph of your answer implies, though I could be wrong?

Thank you for your clarification in advance.
