Uploaded Social Sharing Image not showing up in Whatsapp

Hi! I am having an issue with Social Sharing image - uploaded a new image both via Design->Social Sharing and also Pages->Page Settings, but nothing appears on WhatsApp. Taking into account that for my purposes this is one of the key platforms, I would appreciate prompt help or any suggestions. When the uploaded image is deleted, then the logo or icon from the Main bar appears (please see images attached).

Description changes - appears.

Social Sharing image on other platforms (FB, Twitter, etc.) - appears.

Hey there, I also tried to do this today and it will not update. The social sharing image that generates is the first iteration of my logo which of course we don't want to appear, we want the new logo to appear which I have uploaded multiple times now and it still won't update when sharing the link. Did you find any resolution? 

Also still looking forward to a solution. Maybe anyone from Squarespace team could help, please?

make your website public! I was having the same issue and as soon as i published my website, the image appeared on whatsapp
