Ready template users -- can I adjust site marings?

I would like an image on the landing page that takes up the entire width of the screen, but I can't get rid of the white padding/margins of the page. Is there any way to change it? I don't see options in site styles and, as you can see, it looks a bit odd as just a square, and even with 16:9 it still hovers in the middle of the page. image.thumb.png.1a452aa35395581984cf49f0db5e49ad.png
