Can we request contributor permissions changes

Is there a way to request contributor permissions changes from the developer/designer side? My client is having issues updating it. Even though I know there should be a way to do it from the help center.

I suggested if there are still issues remove me and add me back again with all the permissions. Because I currently cannot add pages and change the style with the current ones. 

Not sure if it's a user error. But it would be great if we could do that.
