Custom code not working on the latest iOS 16.6

Hi, we are having an issue with the custom code used for one of the product cards in the store. The code is supposed to always select the default option and hide this option from the product card (Holster color  → always preselected as Black (standard variation). This way, the customer will only have to select the bag color, the firearm brand, and the model, and then add this product to their cart. 

The code works well on any device (MacOS, Android, older iOS) but not on an iPhone with an iOS 16.6. We've tried different browsers and cleared all the data, cookies, and caches, but it still isn't working and shows an error, saying that it's required to select the Holster color before adding the product to the cart.
