Inject Tag and Category pages with unique meta descriptions

I did a SEMRush audit and discovered that Tag and Category pages on Squarespace have duplicate meta descriptions (I think they inherit from the home page?)

Examples:

https://baligram.me/blog/tag/Beach

https://baligram.me/blog?category=Feature Article

Is there any way with code to customise the meta description for each of these pages?

Or is the only way to customise to create a separate page for each tag or category and use summary block to display all posts for the tag/category? I am beginning to think this might be the only way to have granular control of the pages for each tag/category but it would take a bit of work to set up!
