Users have to subscribe for an account

Hi all 

I was wondering if it’s possible to make that any user purchasing - or even more specifically pays a partial payment (deposit), has to register for an account so they can pay the remaining amount. 
also is it Possible to send automatic reminders of outstanding payments in the lead up to the appointment.
