dahae
Hi, I have just published my website but my SSL is active. However i don't know why this site is blocked when i use my work computer. I can view the site via my phone and my husband's work lap top. I just don't want other people to be blocked from viewing the site. The below is what I am seeing: Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to www.crystal-ascension.com. Cannot communicate securely with peer: no common encryption algorithm(s). Error code: SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem. Can someone let me know how I can fix this? Why isn't there an encryption algorithm when my SSL is active? Or is this something that will get fixed over time as you get more visits from other users? Or is this a completly different problem? I have literally tried everything such as deleting cache, resetting my router etc... that I see as solutions online. Kind regards, Diana Link to comment
creedon
I had no issue reaching your site. You say you are using your work computer. Is it possible that is has been configured to block certain sites? Some employers don't like their employees browsing the web when working. Find my contributions useful? Please like, upvote, mark my answer as the best ( solution ), and see my profile. There's nothing wrong with the site or its SSL certificate (see below). You can be confident it is working for most users. I recommend that you check which version of Firefox you are using at work. The latest version is 114.0.1. Did this help? Please give feedback by clicking an icon below ⬇️ About: SQSP User for 17 yrs. Circle Leader since 2017. dahae
Yeah I have the latest version, and I have no idea why my work would block it as I do alot of online shopping with the same laptop (shhhhhh). As long as it is working for most users I guess, the stuff I am selling people would be using their private phone rather than their work lap top. Thank you so much for your responses! creedon 1 Link to comment
Loritabonita
A colleague just sent me this and I don't know why she is getting it on my site- www.insideaccessmn.com Can someone help me with correcting this error message? Thanks! Link to comment

It appears to me that FG is being overly cautious because your site is new to it and is warning about potential dangers. This sounds like a situation of workplace installed security software making life difficult. Find my contributions useful?
