sinclairsynergy Posted June 16, 2023 Posted June 16, 2023 Hello, I am hoping some kind soul may be able to help me! My social icons are enabled in my header and in a block on the homepage and when I remove and then enable them again they show in the editor but as soon as I save they disappear and don't show on the live site. I contacted Squarespace chat but they said due to me having some custom code they can't help so a bit lost as to what to do next! Any help is appreciated. Tara

If custom code is adversely affecting your site, the first step is to remove it and save it somewhere safe. After you've saved the changes and refreshed the site, if that fixes the issue, you can be confident that the code is at fault. If you provide a working link to the site, as well as a screenshot or Loom video, we may be able to offer more specific advice. Me: I'm Paul, a SQSP user for >18 yrs & Circle Leader since 2017. sinclairsynergy Posted June 16, 2023 Author Posted June 16, 2023 Thanks @paul2009 I deleted all the custom code and still had the same issue so do feel like it something else. https://www.westcothouse.co.uk/ This is the site as as you can see the social icons don't appear in header or in the follow us section lower down where they are both enabled and usually show. Have attached screen shots. thank you
paul2009 Posted June 16, 2023 Posted June 16, 2023 (edited) As this is happening when the custom code has been removed, I do recommend contacting Squarespace again to escalate the issue. They have access to you site and can troubleshoot this properly. Let us know what you find out. Edited June 16, 2023 by paul2009 Me: I'm Paul, a SQSP user for >18 yrs & Circle Leader since 2017. sinclairsynergy Posted June 27, 2023 Author Posted June 27, 2023 Squarespace were not able to help due to it being custom code, but I went through the code in there and deleted it step by step and managed to find a bit of code in the footer relating to making a folder clickable affecting it!
