Scroll snap feature is creating section slugs at the end of my site's root domain

We have just gpne live with our new site on squarespace and I see that the URL for both the home page and team page which both have scroll snap function, now have section slugs at the end of the root domain e.g. www.scapitalvc.com/#1 which turns to /#2 and /#3 consecutively as your scroll through the different sections on the respective page. This is a problem because if I copy and paste now the homepage, instead of only seeing the URL it now has the slug on the end which doesn't look professional. You mean change #1, #2,... to real name, eg: #home, #services?

Well that would be better.

Ideally it would just say scapitalvc.com/home

I tried checking but can't find a way to do this. You try contacting person who wrote code for you. This will extremely complex.
