help with domain

I recently joined Squarespace. I am working with an outside vendor who set up a template for me and I have been building my site with it.

I closed my site with Wix and had my domain transferred. When it landed in Squarespace it went to a brand-new site not the one I am building and I haven't figured out how to move it to the correct one.

I tried chat and they gave me a link and either I don't get it or it isn't what I need to know. 

Help would be appreciated.

The guide Moving a domain to another Squarespace site explains how to move a custom domain from one Squarespace site to another.

If this doesn't help, I recommend that you contact Customer Care again as forum users don't have access to your Squarespace account.
