johnhalldesign
Working on a site design that has a wide hero image as a section background under the header on every page. After spending a lot of time cropping all the images in Photoshop just right, and accounting for the area hidden by the header (which is itself an annoying feature of Squarespace), I now realize that when you turn on the Announcement Bar it moves the header down another half inch into the image area, thereby cropping into people's heads. Is there any way, even with custom code, to change this behavior? Ideally I'd like a setting or code that makes the first section stack under the header, rather than floating behind it and the announcement bar. Below shows a page with announcement bar off, and what happens when you turn it on. Link to comment
