DetailTrip
I added some fonts to my site using the code injection feature when I was on a trial plan. I was aware that I wouldn’t be able to delete the code injection after upgrading to a paid plan, but I forgot to do it before upgrading because I’m new to Squarespace. I was surprised to learn that Squarespace support can’t delete the code injection for me either. Is this a way to force me to buy a higher plan? I don’t know how to say this, but I feel like it’s a very dishonest and unfair practice if that's the case. Also, I’m getting a warning from google search console and WebSite auditor that says “Ensure text remains visible during webfont load”. This is affecting my website performance slightly. If you added code to the Code Injection panel of your website whilst you were in a trial, and you have purchased a Personal Plan for your website, your code has been disabled. Although the code remains visible to you (as the site owner), this is shown for reference purposes only. The code is not being used and cannot interfere with your site. Note that it is possible to use some custom fonts by adding custom CSS instead of using Code Injection. Custom CSS is supported on Personal Plans. If you are experiencing issues with your site then I recommend that you report those specific issues to Squarespace Customer Care so they can help you to resolve them.
