Shand
I’m new to squarespace for blogging. Previously I’ve used Ulysses and markdown to create, format and the upload to WP to publish Since squarespace is not exactly a creation editor and can lose your work if you don’t save frequently, I was hoping to use an external editor for creation. Most of my content is going to be long form. What are you bloggers using for creation? Is there a way to still use Ulysses? Link to comment
audreyaee
Squarespace might be new territory for you, Shand, but there's good news! You can continue using Ulysses for crafting your long-form blog posts. Just write and format with markdown in Ulysses as usual. Then, export your masterpiece as a plain text file. Here's the magic: Squarespace has a Markdown block where you can paste your text. It will translate the markdown into formatting, and you can make any final tweaks within Squarespace. This way, you benefit from Ulysses' creation strengths and Squarespace's publishing platform, keeping your workflow smooth. I have seen silo sanctuary is using the square space.
