Anchor links refresh

Hi there, how do I get my website to stop refreshing at the top of the page when I click my anchor links on other pages than the homepage?

I have other anchor links on other pages that link back to a specific section on the homepage, but when clicked, you are then placed at the top of the website for a second, then go to the desired section.

The url is https://www.ministryofdetail.ca/

try getting rid of /home, maybe try it with just the "/#anchor" that way you can still navigate there from other pages if you need to but it should not cause a reload. It's happening on the first anchor you click because when you get to your site you're at https://www.ministryofdetail.ca but the anchor goes to https://www.ministryofdetail.ca/home#anchorname

Hi there, I got rid of the home part but it still refreshes at the top of the page.

Where when I go to another page, and back to the home, it stays right where I was

The links still look like this to me "/home#who"

Is there another place I can go to edit it? Using the squarespace editor it shows me /#where

Maybe it hadn't refreshed when I checked. It seems to work right now. Only major difference on my end is that it scrolls instead of just changing.
