People can't create accounts or log in to the site

I have no idea how, but after the log in or create account button is pressed, the site just dies and doesn't want to cooperate

I worry this has to do with the code injection I did earlier, any ideas?

Please set up a site-wide password, if your site is not public and you've not already done so.

Adding a site-wide password does not allow anyone to alter your site. It only allows those with the password to see your site.

Have you tried removing the code to check if the problem persists? If the problem goes away, it is almost certainly caused by the custom code.
