creating a item that will globally groups of items

hello,

I'm a photographer looking to start selling prints on my website.

I was wondering is there a way to create an item/product template that I would be able to make global adjustment to groups of items/products at once. "one item to rule them all"

like if i want to add a new size of print or medium that is printed on.
