Why do custom URL's Display Differently when you're on on the website?

This is my custom URL: 

https://www.andreaball.com/work/v/ilia

But when click on the video through the video page it's displayed like this: 

https://www.andreaball.com/work/v/ilia?categoryId=62068b1099943a6a4bec213e

Why doesn't it display the custom URL? 

Both links include the category ID text at the end of your URL, if I go through the work page and click on the link to the video I don't see it, I wouldn't worry about it, see here:

https://www.andreaball.com/work/v/ilia

What do you mean you don’t see it? The category ID isn’t displayed in the  custom url. 
 

It’s a nuisance if someone wants to send a link from my website and it’s not the custom url I created.

Both links in your post include the category ID, see screenshot.

This link does not include the category ID and works:
https://www.andreaball.com/work/v/ilia/

Also, if you go through your work page the category ID isn't included.
