Remove white band on top of mobile header

Is there a way to remove the white band which is present on top of the mobile header - the white band which is running behind the time and iOS icons. I basically want the image to run all the way up.

Also I need to make the section with the image in it bigger on mobile only. I need to make it taller so my logo isn't touching the frame in the image.

It is a part of mobile device, not website, so no way to remove it
