Problem with homepage sections padding

Go to solution Solved by ByMarcdeGroot,

Hi there,

Since our Marquee theme has been updated by Squarespace, we have white padding between our sections on our homepage. While editing the page is empty (this used to work), but since a short while it displays this message: "This page is empty. Start editing and add content blocks."

Can someone help me out? Maybe some custom code will help to fix this padding?

Thanks in advance,

Jeroen

Nope, we don't have any code or custom CSS running on our website...

Fair enough!

Do you have descriptions/captions on the background images?

Hi Jeroen, I'm a little stumped here. Firstly it's a template I haven't used in quite some time, and I don't recall how blank areas below the banner worked, but if it changed without you doing it, then contacting Squarespace Support might be able to help if you talk to them. Secondly I can't see to get that space hidden in Chrome Dev Tools on my browser which makes me confused as normally that's the easy bit, so I could play around with CSS on your website but I'm not sure what might work. As I say, I'm stumped.

Hmm Ziggy, thanks for your help. I'm stumped too, Squarespace helpdesk couldn't help me with a quick fix neither. They forwarded me to this forum.

Hopefully somebody else knows a solution...

Which screen size do you use? It looks fine on my laptop
