Video with older iPads

Hi All. Re: videos not showing on older iPads?

I've just refreshed my Squarespace website (Wells 7.0) and for the home page I've created a montage video showing artwork close ups. The file format and specs are correct and it plays just fine on an up to date iPad Air4, and on Safari / Chrome on my Mac and also in Safari on my iPhone SE3. But, the video does not show on on older iPad Air1 and iPad Mini2 (screen shots)...

I've reset, and cleared the cache in Safari on the iPads in question, but the problem persists. I guess it's just the age of the devices?

If anyone else has experienced this and found a work around, then any pointers would be most welcome!

In the end I just decided to use a simple Gallery Slide Show block sat in a blank page, which obviously is a compromise compared to some of the effects I had in the video, but never mind, it now just works!
