Squarespace font does not reflect in browsers

Recommended Posts

Hello!

I'm attempting to set my website font via the Design > Site Styles > Fonts > Font Pack tool. I have set the "Headings, Paragraphs, and Miscellaneous" sections. The font does reflect through my editor as seen below:

For some reason though, this is how it reflects through the live version:

I've tested this within Chrome, Firefox, and Opera GX. I've cleared my cache / history.

A lot of the information I'm finding via Google mentions "Custom Font issues," but I'm attempting to do this through the website and not customly.

I've also had some friends test it, and they're seeing the same font that I do.

In addition, I did check, and I'm currently running on the 7.1 version.  For those who would like to review, my website is https://gloomygirlblog.com. It is an art blog and some of the content is nsfw (just as a heads up).

Thanks!

Have you possibly got the font set manually in Custom CSS?

What font are you trying to apply? It's currently set to "dapifer".

Thanks so much for getting back! I did try to play around with custom css last night but the code I was putting in didn't stick, so I removed it all and went back to a SquareSpace font.

It's odd because even with Dapifer, the font doesn't look quite the same on my live page:

Edit mode:

Live:

Is there a way I can check to make sure the custom css is manually turned off? I don't have anything filled out in the box at the moment, but wasn't sure if there's a way to reset it maybe?

Ideally I'd like to use a more bubbly type font, but none of the fonts I've tried have worked for me. I've tried a few of them, and they always reflect under edit mode, but not live.

Hope that helps, thanks again! 😊
