PDF link feature not working

Good afternoon all - I have recently created a new website and on the website are a series of buttons that should download a file when clicked upon. However, when testing the site, and clicking on the file I am trying to download, it opens and new window stating "Static1" and nothing happens... 

Does anyone know if there is an issue with file hosting on Squarespace?

The PDF I am referring to is under Notice of Race. When you click it, it opens a page and does not download the PDF. 

Edit the file that button is connected to and give it a simple name like NOTICE, then edit the button, choose the gear icon next to the link then the file option and when Notice comes up in the list check it and then see how it works. You can keep the same button title. 

Hi, I have given this a go, but the PDF still doesn't start to download when the button is selected. Thanks for getting back to me. 

I'm having the same issue. 

What did you have to upgrade your account to? I'm on a Business plan and can't get it to work.
