Would love feedback on site

My first Squarespace site just went live. (I'm an old graphic designer but no website experience!) It's a fairly simple site for a friend's new business but I would love any critique. I've tried to make her light color palette accessible and readable but keep the design elegant but personable. She didn't care for a lot of modern details like parallax or animations.

We'll be adding more pages in the future, and I have a couple things I would like to tweak and figure out along the way:

• Alt text for the main homepage image! I can't figure out how to do that and it's a Pexels image so I would love to credit the image.
• I would also like to figure out how to not have the band of color show "under" the site. like when you scroll too far, it's showing the terracotta color of the color palette (see attached screenshots)

It's an elegant yet simple website, I liked how the booking widget look&feel is aligned with the main website style, good job!
