Inability to change to custom font using CSS

Recommended Posts

I am trying to change font to architects daughter in 7.1. This font was offered in 7.0. I uploaded the font to the CSS editor and entered the following code:

//ADDING ARCHITECTS DAUGHTER FONT//
@font-face {font-family: 'architectsdaughter'; src:url('https://static1.squarespace.com/static/64555b664691405c646e4770/t/64565b0b4e96fe4154f21eab/1683381003976/ArchitectsDaughter-Regular.ttf')}

h1 {font-family:'architectsdaughter';}

But the font doesn't change. Any suggestions?

Thanks. I didn't need to try it because I ultimately was able to achieve the custom text with the following code: h1 {font-family:'architectsdaughter';}.

I have copied the code you recommended just in case. Being a newbie to designing a website presents some real challenges. Thanks for all those you help
