bbarcode
Hey! Been bending my head over this. I am trying to configure the site search engine built into 7.1. I find that it comes up with related products in the search results and tends to be a bit of a hit or a miss (also a bit slow and unresponsive to close-match search). By chance, does anyone know how to configure the site search to show results in a grid format? Also, is there a way to have it stop redirecting to a separate search page? I might be asking a bit too much out of this built-in search engine so if there is a better option, I am also open to it! Thank you in advance! I avoid the search bar, it has ongoing issues and is generally not great. You may be better off with adding this functionality that includes search:https://www.squarewebsites.org/squarespace-plugins/universal-filter Here's another thread that may help: bbarcode, EarvinChong and paul2009 3 Please like and upvote if my comments were helpful to you. bbarcode
I feared that this is what I would have to do. It is a bit more challenging to sell that way without giving the customer/user an option to search for specific products. UX out the door. Link to comment
Ziggy
When using websites with fewer than ~100 items I've never found search very good unless you know exactly what you want, I generally think there are ways of getting people to the right product without search unless you're Amazon.
