LornaT
Hi, How do I fix a formatting issue with my website. At 100%, the writing it looks balanced but too many gaps, I've reedited again and at 60-80% the buttons overlap the copy writing. Shouldn't the formatting just stay the same? no matter the page size. Mobile works fine, so that's one thing. I'm confused, as it was all set perfectly, so I have no idea why its suddenly moved. Any ideas? Many Thanks Link to comment
Ziggy
Can you share your website URL and some screenshots of this? 41 minutes ago, LornaT said: at 60-80% What do you mean by this percentage? Are you reducing your browser window width? or using the zoom function? Thanks for the extra info and clarification! Please like and upvote if my comments were helpful to you. Cheers! Below:- This is at 80% desktop 'Zoom' no over lap. I'm really confused, as everything was set, so I'm unsure why it would just change? Is there a fix for this? I haven't changed my browser window width. The URL is - https://www.oceansoulsauna.co.uk/sauna-experience-options Link to comment
Solution Ziggy Posted May 8 Solution Share Posted May 8 This problem is caused by your having overlapping blocks, you can see the overlap demonstrated here with the purple overlay: Any time you have overlapping blocks then even if it looks good on your screen and zoom level there will be times when the text fills the entire text block and goes behind the button. If you set up the page without this text block overlapping the button block, then the text when zoomed will stretch the block and not overlap. You should be able to do this by making sure that you don't have extra blank lines of text and decreasing the height of the text block. tuanphan and LornaT 2 Please like and upvote if my comments were helpful to you.
