Service-Product : I do not want customer to receive 'order fulfilled' email

Hello, 

I only have service-products in my store. I only want the customer to receive a "confirmation" email but not a "fulfillment" email. Is there a way to do this? I  do not want the service to show as "pending."

Yes. When you mark the order as fulfilled, uncheck the Email the customer that their order has been fulfilled checkbox and click Confirm. The "Order Fulfilled" email will not be sent.

You can mark orders as fulfilled on an individual basis or in bulk.
