FusionFashion
I am using squarespace 7.1 and I want to show "sold out" when you click on the product and then click on the variant drop down. Currently "sold out" is only visible in the shop page on the product. Does Anyone know how I can make it so that the product status shows after click on the actual product and then click on the variant drop down. Link to comment

Have you enabled the Show in Variant Dropdown setting? Squarespace are currently moving some of the settings around but it is usually in the Commerce settings under Product Status > Out of Stock: Did this help? FusionFashion
Thanks for your reply paul2009, yes that option is enabled but the issue is still there is there any other way to show "sold out" when you click on the product and then click on the variant drop down. Link to comment
paul2009
If the option is toggled on, "sold out" should be appearing in the dropdown (unless waitlists are enabled). Please provide us with a working link to the product with the sold out variant so we can take a look. FusionFashion
Hi, I found a solution when I enable the waitlists the sold-out hides from the variant dropdown and allows customers to signup for later getting notified when the product is back in stock. And when I disable waitlists the sold-out shows in the variant drop-down menu but the option for sign up for the mailing list hides. I want both options for example, The soldout should be shown in the variant dropdown, and When a customer clicks on a soldout product from the product variant drop-down that allows the customers to sign up the mailing list. can you help me with this? I want both options This is the expected behaviour when Product Waitlists are enabled. Sold out labels won't display in variant drop-down menus.
