Parker_SQSP
We’ve been collecting updates all month. Here’s everything new with the platform in April! Commerce Choose how your product variants are displayed To further customize your product details pages, you can now choose if you’d like your product variants to display in a dropdown menu or with buttons. Prior to this, variants could only be displayed in a dropdown menu. Learn more about styling your product details page. Checkout on your domain is available on all plans with Commerce features If you have a custom domain or subdomain, customers will be directed to a URL that looks like https://yourdomain.com/checkout at checkout out on all plans with Commerce features. Prior to this update, sites on the Business plan would direct customers to https://secure.squarespace.com at checkout. Learn more about checkout on your domain. Multilingual customer notification emails If you use the Weglot integration for multilingual sites, your Commerce customer notification emails (like the order confirmation and fulfillment emails) are now automatically translated, too. Your customers will receive emails in the language they viewed on your site, creating a seamless end-to-end shopping experience. Please note, translated emails count towards your Weglot word limit. You can disable email translations in the Language & Region panel of your site. Learn more about setting up a multilingual site with Weglot or jump straight to the section on multilingual customer email notifications. Unfold Bio Sites New fonts You can now customize the look and feel of your Bio Sites with newly added fonts. Prior to this update, Bio Sites only had one universal font option available. Learn more about customizing your Bio Site font. Preset tipping amounts We’ve added preset tip options to Tips sections to make it easier for people to tip you. You can set up to four preset amounts in addition to a custom amount field. Learn more about accepting tips with Unfold. Websites and domains Asset library trash We’ve added a trash folder to the Asset library to help keep your images and videos organized. When you delete an image or video from the Asset library, it will stay in the trash folder for 30 days until it’s permanently deleted. You can also permanently delete them from the trash. Learn more about deleting content from the Asset library. Save and Exit You’ll notice a new Save and Exit button when you’re editing pages on your site. The Save button will allow you to save changes as you make them without closing out the editor for a more efficient experience. Once you’re done making changes, you can click Exit to close the editor. Link to comment
Darius89
Thank you square space team for your new updates! I have some more suggestions: 1. Autosave option for the editor (like in Google docs or notes). 2. Google sign in option for member sign in or customer login. 3. 2nd menu bar. If the menue bar in the header had too many elements it will mesd up the design on laptops or desktops. You will get an ugly scroll bar then at the bottom and there will be white edge... The second menue bar could display things like language, login, or cart. So there is enough placr for the other options Thank you for taking notice. sussexseamstress0603
This kind of update is really helpful - is there a monthly email we could subscribe to to get this info sent to us each month, rather than having to seek it out? Thanks! Link to comment

RachillP
Are there any updates on POS systems for Canada? I love SquareSpace as an online platform but sadly, when it comes to selling in-person at markets/pop-ups, there doesn't seem to be an option for Canadian users. Is this going to be a topic that SquareSpace is thinking of resolving for Canadian users or should we be looking at switching to other platforms that offer options to do both e-commerce and in-person selling?
