"Domain not Mapped" Error appearing only in mobile cart

My store has been setup for a couple of months, lots of orders placed and no issues. I have not changed anything in terms of coding, settings, domain etc.

However, a customer just alerted me that the following error is appearing when she goes to check out. I am able to replicate the error on MOBILE ONLY, and do not see it when I use my laptop:

This domain has been mapped to Squarespace, but it has not yet been claimed by a website. If this is your domain, claim it in the Domains tab of your Website Manager.

Again, this error only appears when an item has been added to the cart, and you click "checkout." (It appears on what should be the payment page.) 

Can anyone help me resolve?

I just resolved the issue myself by clearing the safari browser cache on my iPhone, however this seems like a problem for customers who don't know how to do that but also can't check-out. Is there anything that can be done on the back end so they aren't confronted with this error?

Please provide a link to the site. This will allow forum users to check the configuration. If it is a configuration issue, we can suggest steps to resolve it. If it is technical fault instead, you'll need to contact Squarespace Customer Care directly.

Thanks. I can reproduce the error.

I confirmed your domain settings, so the checkout should be working correctly on your own domain, assuming that:

  • You are on a Commerce billing plan (not Business or Personal)
  • SSL is enabled
 with the preference set to Secure

Assuming these are true, I recommend that you reach out to Squarespace for technical support. If you experience any difficulties contacting them, please read how to contact Squarespace.
