0liver Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 I wonder if one of you code wizards could help me. I am aware that Squarespace don't allow the option for taking deposits at checkout. The solution of adding two variants "full price" & "deposit" works but means the price is always displayed as "From £XXX" which isn't practical. The best solution I have found is to add a second button that links to a duplicate hidden product at the deposit price. I can add this button in the additional info tab below but wonder if someone could work their magic and make the "deposit" button appear directly underneath the original "add to cart" Botton (will be renaming this button to "Full Price"). I have found code previously that adds a "checkout" button directly underneath, that is wonderfully placed and formatted, however this button is the same link on all product pages in the store, and I would need the link to vary for each product AND then there is the issue of adding the number of items to the basket... As I type this, I just realised another solution COULD be to write code to remove the original "add to cart" button, so it doesn't display on the usual product page location and then re-add this button and the deposit button in the "additional info" tab below next to each other... not sure how practical this is. Any help with this would be incredible!!! Thank you VERY much in advance This is ideally what I would love it to look like:

If you'd like a solution that has already been built and tested on Squarespace 7.1, please take a look at Product Samples. This takes care of the code to include the second 'product' with your main product. This is typically used for sample products alongside full products, but could also be used for deposits.
