How to change the "who" for Google Calendar Scheduling E-mail

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I am having trouble finding where I can change the Organizer and the Invitees when an automated e-mail gets sent out for an appointment. I've attached the issue that I'm experiencing.

I had assumed it would be under Email Settings, but I am unable to locate where I can make the updates. If anyone has any insights, I would greatly appreciate it!

I would also like to know how to change this.

I'm getting beyond frustrated with the lack of response to many of these questions regarding Acuity. This software is not cheap by any means, but I see so many questions go unanswered in this forum. It really appears as if Acuity provides no real technical support or customer service to their paying customers.

This type of question should have a canned response in place that Support can post up here. Or at least a "you can't do that now, but we'll be adding that ability in a future release" would be helpful. Total silence just plain sucks.

I have figured out it seems to have to do with the email address associated (Gmail, in my case) with the Acuity account, not a setting within Acuity itself. The disconnect might be due to the way Acuity sends the reminders from [Scheduling@AcuityScheduling-mail.com] and allows replies to the email address associated with your account. When the option to add an appointment directly to my Google calendar is offered in the confirmation email, it's not able to pull my company name because the confirmation email did not come from my Gmail account.
Not really helpful in solving the issue, but at least some information as to WHY it's saying "unknown organizer"
