Create hover with longer text

Hi,

I am trying to redo the landing page of the site above to include a hover with longer text.

I added a page with images and one text box on the first image (but it is unpublished so I made screenshots.)

I copied the code for the hover into the CSS from a Squarespace tutorial.
I doubt it is correct because I do not think I found the correct block ID and it doesn't work.

Any suggestions?
