CCBC Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 Has anyone had any experiece with 301 redirects where the old site url previously hosted by a 3rd party other than Squarespace contains %20 which represents a space. e.g. "eat play explore" is shown as "eat%20play%explore" We have several of these that we were able to enter and save into our URL mappings in squarespace but they are the only redirects that aren't working and just show a 404 error. I looked at some options that have worked on non-squarespace sites such as using " " or (\s) but what I tried didn't seem to work either. Any help would be appreciated as it is impacting several of our key pages. An example of how one is currently mapped in our URL mappings. http://www.chevychasebeachcabins.com/eat%20play%20explore.html -> https://www.chevychasebeachcabins.com/nearby 301 Thank You!
creedon Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 Remove https://www.chevychasebeachcabins.com from the beginning of your URLs. Please see URL redirects. Let us know how it goes. CCBC Posted April 24, 2023 Author Posted April 24, 2023 Thanks for your response. Once I removed both the http:// . . . and https:// . . . from the from and to URLs like the below it solved my issue with those redirects. /eat%20play%20explore.html -> /nearby 301 creedon 1
