SleepyHollowSwag Posted April 20, 2023 Posted April 20, 2023 I am creating a banner to display at an art fair I will be selling at and I wanted to create a QR code for my website. Does Square Space have a QR code generator for my website already and how do I access it if they do? SarahNova 1

SarahNova Posted December 20, 2023 Posted December 20, 2023 It would be really great if they did! I only need to create 1-2 QR codes a month and it seems that so many QR generators are charging like $30+ a month...totally unnecessary for someone using it very minimally. Hopefully squarespace comes up with a helpful solution! bit.ly does offer two free QR codes
MauiJim029 Posted December 31, 2023 Posted December 31, 2023 Chrome has a free QR code generator, on the right of the address bar, click on the 3 little dots and go to save and share. You can create a QR code there. Andrew_M, redthread, TBA2024 and 1 other 2 1 1
matx2that Posted October 8 Posted October 8 Yes, there are plenty of QR code generators online, but not all are reliable, so I have to advise everyone to be careful here and check the reviews. Some generators offer "free" codes, but then disable them after two weeks unless you subscribe. Imagine printing promotional material with that code only to find it no longer works - sadly, this has happened to many people, as I've read on a few forums. Personally, I also use Uniqode (formerly Beaconstac) and opt for dynamic codes, to be able to track my campaigns. Generally, I highly recommend dynamic codes for marketing, but Uniqode also offers free static codes that won't suddenly expire. QR codes can be used in many ways to boost engagement - definitely worth exploring, in my opinion. karob 1
karob Posted Monday at 02:31 PM Posted Monday at 02:31 PM Agreed, would love it if Squarespace included a QR Code generator. The Chrome option is a good one, but it comes up with a dinosaur in the middle (for me) and I'm going for a more professional look.
