How to remove the black line showing under videos?

After I upload videos on my website, there is a black line under all of them. How do I remove it?

Are you 100% sure that the actual video doesn't contain this black line? I can't see anything in the code that would be causing this.

The original video doesn't contain this black line. All videos I uploaded have this line, even other projects. Is there a way to cut the bottom space a bit to see if the black line can disappear?

Having downloaded the thumbnail for the video and looked at it in Photoshop, I can see that it has a black line at the bottom (I changed the workspace background to white to show this better)

Given that this thumbnail is generated from the video, it's safe to say that it is also on the video. I'm not sure at what point this is happening, maybe during export, or maybe during upload or rending, but I would suggest  checking your videos carefully and then working forwards or backwards to find where the problem is coming from. I've not seen this type of error when uploading, so that is very possible, and if your videos are perfect then you should certainly talk to Squarespace support.

Thank you so much for your help again! I talked to the team, and they said the changing video ratio custom code causes this, and they have no idea how to help since this is out of their service.

I guess I can only search for other codes at this point.
