kaydotjpg
Hi! When you open the accordion menu on my site, the image next to it expands (a ton) and I don't love it. Is there a way to prevent this from happening? (when on the site, it is the "+ READ MORE" to expand the accordion. It can be easy to miss as it doesn't look like a traditional accordion password: lara Link to comment

Solution Ziggy Posted April 17 Solution Share Posted April 17 There's something funny going on with the accordion, making it difficult to click on. I think that the text block above it is overlapping. In order to make the accordion not stretch the image, I like to make the accordion block take up more rows than necessary, all the way to the bottom of the image would be brilliant, that way it doesn't stretch the rows but just expands into the available space. Does the make sense? tuanphan 1 Please like and upvote if my comments were helpful to you. Cheers! kaydotjpg
@Ziggy ah, yes! That definitely worked! I expanded the accordion block down multiple rows, into the empty space. The image expands a bit, but not a ton. Thank you!! Ziggy 1 Link to comment
jenniferhuebler
I notified Squarespace of this issue and they said they are aware of it , but have no intention of fixing it. I found that if I set the image to "fit" instead of fill, and then aligned it vertically that it solved the issue. If you want a custom shape for you image then you can create a .png of it and use that instead of depending on Squarespace for shape/framing. Link to comment
